When I talk about places to visit in South Goa, then its hard not to mentioned these three beautiful South Goa Beaches.
Do you know south goa beaches are more clean, peaceful and less commercialized compare to north Goa??
Thats how I ended up in visiting these three hidden gems of South Goa.
Less Known and Beautiful South Goa Beaches
I think this is the most beautiful beach I have ever visited in Goa. It was just 15 minutes walking distance from Alagoa resort where I had stayed for three days.
The road from Alagoa resort to Betalbatim beach was very scenic. It was monsoon season and everywhere was greenery.
The coastal side of Betalbatim Beach near to Alagoa resort is very pictures-tic. Its a white sand beach. You may feel like jumping right in the water but just confirm if this beach is safe for swimming.
I highly recommend to add this one in your places to visit in South Goa list.
On the last day in South Goa, I had some time. I quickly checked google for nearby beaches, and found this name.
After having delicious lunch at Martin’s corner, I reached here. It was afternoon.
One side of the beach was empty, hardly any locals. And on the other side, there was a group of locals who was busy in fishing. First time I saw goan way of traditional fishing.
It was july – off season in Goa. I did not find any water sports or activity there. I am not sure, if it was due to off season.

Gypsy mood. They say walking barefoot in nature is good for health. And I take it seriously every time I am out in nature :)🧚♀️🌸 . . . Majorda beach comprises long lanes of palm grove trees and its clear water. It worth to visit this beach when you are in South Goa.
I had heard a lot about this beach. Its one of the famous places to visit in South Goa.
I do not have proper picture of this beach because I visited it late evening.
Palolem beach was 15 minutes driving distance from my stay in Palolem. I happened to visit this place while searching for good options to eat.
Palolem offers both relaxation and adventure. Due to rainy season most of the water sports and other activites were closed.
For those who like to shop, Palolem also has a small market just behind the beach that sells clothes, boho jewelry and souvenirs.
Many people wonder whether they should book their Goa accommodation, or just turn up and hope they find a beach hut.
If you’re not too fussy about where you stay, it’s possible to do the latter. However, the good places do fill up quickly during high season in December and January, so booking ahead can be wise.
During my time in South Goa, I had stayed at Oceanic View and Alogoa resorts.
Do you know more South Goa Beaches?? If yes please suggest me so that I can visit them in my next trip.
Thanks for spending time reading to post. If you are interested then I have written more bunch of Goa Travel guides which you may find useful.
Thats all for today guys. Stay happy and stay blessed.
I will see you guys in my some other travel post. Bye.
