Goa, is one of my favorite places to visit in India. It has beautiful beach life, wildlife sanctuaries, crazy parties, amazing fish food..everything that makes a nice vacation if you plan it well. ‘Hotels In Goa‘ , its a series where I give my honest experience of the stay in Goa. I hope it will help you to plan your Goa trip. Lets get started.
I think I have already mentioned like 100 times here and expressed my love for GOA. If you check my earlier Goa travel posts then it will help to understand that Goa is not just a party place but it has so much more to offer.
This month I got a chance to visit North Goa, Arambol. It was not my first time to visit North Goa. I had already visited North Goa a couple times earlier. That time I visited Baga, Calangute which are very commercialized. Due to these places I had developed an image of North GOA. For me North Goa = Only Party and loud music.
But my recent trip to Arambol helped me to change this image to a great extent.
This time I had stayed At The Noname Guesthouse for 3 days and 2 nights.
Location : Where is The Noname Guesthouse in North Goa?
It is half an hour driving distance from Pernem railway station. North Goa is little far from the Goa airport. It will take more than a hour to reach here from the Goa airport.
The road towards Noname Guesthouse will give you typical goan vibes.
The surrounded area has various shops where you can buy artificial jewelry, cloths, handmade crafts. Another plus point is the beautiful Arambol beach is just 5-10 minutes walk-able distance from it.
Can You Tell Me About Accommodation..??
Sure. If you are looking for a affordable stay very closed to the arambol beach then this place is for you.
Its simple and clean. The non-AC rooms are single or double occupancy.
Check out these pictures.
And How About Food ??
If you are staying here then you cannot miss their breakfast. You will get options to select your breakfast. Early morning filling my tummy with delicious healthy breakfast was the best part of staying here.
They make fresh food every single day in front of you.
Pleas note: They dont serve non-veg food. However fresh egg omelets available.
And Yes There Is Cowroking Too..
Coworking? What is that, you may ask. Coworking is a place where people can sit and work independently. Basically coworking is majorly used by freelancers, nomads. Coworking is available on the rooftop of The Noname Guesthouse. Here you can pay for the place + internet on hourly/daily/weekly basics. The best part is, it has an amazing view. Arambol beach is visible from here.
I used this place to practice Yoga :).
Nearby Places To Visit
I spent the entire afternoon on this beach. There are hotels / beach shaks where you can get a sunbed free of cost in exchange of food and drinks.
The beach was clean and 80% crowd was foreigners. Morjim Beach is 30 minutes drive from the Noname guesthouse.

Arpora Night Market:
The saturday arpora night market is very popular here. It is full of small small shops where people sell crafts, lamps, cloths, spices etc.
Would I Recommend The Noname Guesthouse??
I would highly recommend this place to freelancers, nomads, backpackers. Co-working + budget stay + good food will make your north Goa experience pleasant. I would definitely like to visit this place again. Please note they remain closed in Monsoon.
